Pictish Wedding Rings, Sgian Dubhs and Pendants – A Very Unique Set.

We created this very unique set for a wedding, featuring a Pictish Wolf and Z-Rod along with Spirals and Knotwork.
The Sterling Silver wedding rings and Sgian Dubh ferrules were engraved with a Pictish Wolf, Z-Rod and Spiral design and these spirals were also featured on the pendants.
We carved a knotwork design onto the Sgian Dubhs handles which are bog oak dating back to 5300 years ago and they’re capped with pommel stones cut from Angus Red Jasper and Balmerino Moss Agate, the same stones were also set in the silver pendants.
This was a lovely project for us to work on, initially stemming from an inquiry about custom wedding rings.
