A Pictish Inspired Sgian Dubh

Pictish Sgian Dubh with bog oak, silver and Damascus
Here’s a Sgian Dubh commission with a distinct Pictish flavour.
The Sterling Silver plate inlaid into the smooth, wax-polished bog oak handle is engraved with a Z-rod and double disk design inspired by an item found in the Norrie’s Law hoard. The lower ferrule band is engraved with the Ardross Wolf, the broken carved stone which we based this design on is currently in Inverness Museum.
The blade is Damascus, diamond-engraved with initials and the pommel stone is Jade.
