A weekend on Lewis

Just had a great weekend staying with friends on the Isle of Lewis, the photo above is of Cliff Beach on the West Side. Max found a lovely stone for the Sgian Dubh Pommels a little further on from here, I’ll post a photo when it’s cut and polished.
Very relaxing and good company, we also got a chance to see the Lewis Chess Men during their loan to Museum nan Eilean, in Stornoway which will probably influence an upcoming Viking styled Sgian Dubh commission.
